My wife and I recently had the pleasure of going on a bow fishing trip on the Snake River near Boise, ID, and I can’t recommend it enough! We booked through Venturely, and our guide, Lance, and Richelle, made the experience absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we set out on the water, Venturely's expertise and enthusiasm were evident. Lance knew the Snake River like the back of his hand, guiding us to the best spots to target carp. The scenery was stunning. Clear blue skies, calm waters, and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape made for a perfect day outdoors. Richelle and Lance made sure we had all the gear we needed and gave us a quick rundown on how to use the bow, which was super helpful for a first-timer like me. We had an absolute blast! I managed to land a massive carp (as you can see in the photo!), and the thrill of the hunt was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Richelle was incredibly encouraging, offering tips and cheering us on with every shot. She also shared some great insights about the local ecosystem and the importance of managing invasive species like carp, which added a meaningful layer to the trip. The boat was comfortable, with plenty of space to move around, and the shade from the umbrella was a lifesaver on a sunny day. Richelle’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, and her passion for the sport was infectious. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a complete beginner, this trip is a must-do. Richelle did an amazing job organizing everything, and Lance was the perfect guide to bring it all together.
